Terms and conditions of booking
Your contract is subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as you will be bound by them.

Your Booking Contract
These Terms and Conditions form a contract between The Mar Menor Golf Company and you the client, for the provision of all the services and arrangements that make up the breaks outlined on It is important that you read and understand these conditions and that you are fully aware of what we are providing under the contract.

Booking Type
The type of booking you make with is called a “Resort booking” (the resort being the one for which the booking is made), where you book accommodation with golf and the golf is part of the hotel’s facilities, i.e. the hotel has its own golf course (the word “hotel” in these terms and conditions includes hotels, self-catering accommodation and any other accommodation you may book with us).
A “Resort booking” comprises an accommodation-only service that is organised by us as principal and as this does not constitute a package holiday under The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992, we are not required to provide you with financial protection in the event of our insolvency.

Making a Booking
You can make a booking for a golf break by sending us an enquiry about a break using our “Enquire Now” button. You must be 18 years or over to make a booking.
If you send us an enquiry using our Enquire Now service, we will acknowledge receipt of your enquiry as soon as possible and email you the price(s) of your selected options. All prices are subject to availability and you will receive confirmation of this before we ask for any payment.
Only then is the deposit paid and this secures confirmation of your booking.  On receipt of your deposit we will forward you a receipt and a confirmation invoice showing the balance due and the date by which your final settlement must reach us.
At this point a binding contract will exist between yourself and The Mar Menor Golf Company, subject to our booking terms and conditions and the booking terms and conditions of the hotel.
Please check the booking confirmation carefully as soon as you receive it paying special attention to the details of dates of stay, accommodation type and golf courses (tee times will be confirmed as soon as possible after the booking is confirmed). Please contact us within 72 hours of receiving the booking confirmation if any information appearing on the confirmation letter appears to be incorrect or incomplete, as it may not be possible to make changes later.
All bookings made within 8 weeks of the departure date must be paid for in full at time of booking. Should the final payment not reach us by the date stated on the invoice we reserve the right to consider the booking cancelled and the relevant cancellation charges would apply. All bookings must be paid in full 8 weeks before departure

Group Bookings
Where a booking s made for more than 1 person, the person making the booking will be responsible for the whole booking. As the lead person you are guaranteeing that you have the authority to act for the whole group and that you are accepting these Terms and Conditions on behalf of that group. The lead person is also responsible for notifying all members of the group of the arrangements made on their behalf and is for notifying us of any amendments to the booking.

Green Fees / Tee Times
When making your golf holiday booking we will request your preferred courses, days of play and tee times.
On occasion it may be necessary for the Golf Clubs to change your tee time, day and/or course. This could be due to a Club Competition, for example, and we will try to ensure a suitable alternative.
Accordingly requests for tee times, days and courses are not binding to The Mar Menor Golf Company.
The Golf Clubs reserve the right to create 4 balls, if necessary, to maximise tee times (in the event of a 2 person booking, for example).

Golf Course Condition
The Mar Menor Golf Company cannot be held responsible for actual playing conditions of the golf courses whether caused by course maintenance or weather conditions etc. We are aware when the courses are undergoing some maintenance work e.g. Hollow Tining and we advise our clients if this coincides with their booking. However, these schedules can change depending on the weather and other factors as decided by the Golf Course Manager/Director and these are out of our control.
We cannot be held responsible for loss of tee times on day of arrival or departure, if these are due to travel e.g. changes, delays or cancellations of airlines, rail services and ferry companies. (Claims for these should be submitted to your Travel Insurance Company)

We can arrange buggy hire for you but clients must pay for the buggy hire on the day,

Price Guarantee
Once you have made a booking, we will guarantee the price on your holiday confirmation invoice. This will not change unless you or we change your holiday arrangements, subject to the following exceptions:
The price of your holiday will be subject to changes on the following: governmental action (e.g. new taxes, or increases to existing taxes). If this increases the cost of your holiday by more than 10%, you will be entitled to cancel your booking with a full refund of all money paid except for any amendment charges.
Should you decide to cancel because of this, you must exercise your right to do so within 14 days from the issue date printed on the invoice. We reserve the right to impose charges, due to the above listed items, at any time up to 30 days prior to departure.
We reserve the right to alter the price of any golf break, not limited to any pricing error, and we will advise you of the current price of the golf break before any booking. Any subsequent reduction in prices due to special offers advertised will not apply to confirmed bookings.

Although all reasonable efforts have been made to ensure the accuracy of the information (including prices) on our website (, in our email newsletters and quotes, regrettably changes and errors occasionally occur. We will therefore confirm the details of your chosen break (including the price) at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to alter the price of any golf break, not limited to any pricing error, and we will advise you of the current price of the golf break before any booking is confirmed. Any subsequent reduction in prices due to special offers advertised will not apply to confirmed bookings.

Providing the Mar Menor Golf Company incur no charges as the result of changes to tee times and/or accommodation prices, then no charges will be payable by you.

We accept payments via PayPal* and bank transfers. No payment is made directly through our website.
*If you wish to pay by PayPal, please notify us and we will send you an invoice with a link to make the payment.

Cancellation Charges
Cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Bookings cancelled more than 56 days before departure will result in loss of deposit.

Complaints during your break.
If you have a complaint or experience any problems during your break please inform the hotel or supplier concerned as soon as possible. If the matter cannot be resolved locally with the supplier at the time, you must notify us at  in writing, giving your booking reference and all other relevant information within 48 hours and preferably whilst still at the resort. This will assist us to quickly identify your concerns and speed up our response to you. If you fail to follow this procedure, we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint whilst you were in resort and this may affect your rights under this contract.

It is your responsibility to organise your own travel insurance. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is adequate for your particular needs. We do not check insurance policies. Please read your policy details carefully and take them with you on your break. We do not accept any liability for any possible loss that you suffer as a result of your failure to take out an adequate insurance policy.

Special Requests
If you have any special needs / requests you must notify us at the time of booking or as soon as possible thereafter. However, we cannot guarantee that any request will be fulfilled. Unless and until specifically confirmed, all special requests are subject to availability.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This contract and any dispute, claim or other matter of any description which arises out of or in connection with this contract is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with Scottish law.
